INTER COOLER & AFTER COOLER

The term “Compressor Cooling” can refer to a cooler which actually cools the compressed air to a desired temperature. Two main types are water cooled and air cooled. We mainly supply many different configurations of water cooled coolers. The intercooler component is typically designed to eliminate heat that is produced between the different stages of the compressor whereas the aftercooler is for removing heat after the compression process is finished. Since intercoolers and aftercoolers are ideal in air compressor applications many manufacturers offer these products for a wide range of air compressors.

An Intercooler/Aftercooler reduces the air temperature, volume, and increased air density for the next stage.
Increases volumetric efficiency and compressor efficiency.
The reduced temperature gives better lubrication to the cylinder and piston rings.
Drain is fitted from which water and excessive oil can be drained out, to prevent air bottle corrosion and starting air explosion and fouling of intercoolers and pipe.
